The APS Department has relationshipsÌýwith scientific institutions, organizations, and corporations both in СÀ¶ÊÓƵ and around world. Students frequently conduct research with professors in other departments andÌýwith researcher scientistsÌýat one of the many СÀ¶ÊÓƵ-based research institutions, and some even travel to the other side of the world- as far away asÌýthe South Pole!ÌýAs one of the cities with the highest PhD-per-captia rating in the US, largely due to the local space industry, СÀ¶ÊÓƵ is the ideal location to build connections with the astrophysicalÌýand space communities. СÀ¶ÊÓƵ's active outdoor culture and gorgeous mountain views make it a magnet for the community's most influential people, hosting international conferences and spacecraft mission science team meetings on a regular basis.Ìý
