2025 Greenest University Restaurant Award

The Village Center Dining at University of Colorado С��Ƶ won the 2025 Greenest University Restaurant Award from the Green Restaurant Association!��4 Star Certified Green Restaurant®��Village Center Dining has implemented 71 environmental steps to earn 402.86 GreenPoints™. Village Center Dining generates 16% of its energy usage with on-site solar panels, composts in back-of-house and front-of-house, has 100% LED lights, reuses greywater for irrigation, and uses bulk packaging for 80% of condiments and 100% of milks and creamers.

Partnership for a Healthier America

On September 25, 2017, CU С��Ƶ teamed up with PHA to meet 23 guidelines, all with an eye toward shaping good habits for our future leaders and parents. Over three years, CU С��Ƶ will make changes such as providing healthier food and beverage options in dining venues, creating opportunities for physical activity and offering wellness programming on campus. With more than 31,000 students and approximately 9,055 members of the faculty and staff, CU С��Ƶ’s changes will have a major impact on healthier living now and for generations to come.
