Daniels Fund National Case Competition winners pose with a giant check

A CU team advised by Leeds Professor Joshua Nunziato has earned second place in the Daniels Fund National Ethics Case Competition. The team advanced from an initial pool of 83 teams representing 38 universities and ultimately competed in person among the top 20 teams. This impressive achievement comes with an $80,000 prize.Ìý

The competition consisted of three rounds that asked students to tackle scenarios that mirror the complexities and moral dilemmas faced in business. The first place team came from Notre Dame and third place went to the U.S. Air Force Academy.Ìý

CU’s team members included Mitali Desai, Jesse Hettleman, Marina Levine, and Aaditya (Aadi) Pore. While all four students hail from CU schools other than Leeds, each team member was involved in both the and the President’s Leadership Class (PLC). Pore will be joining NASA after graduation, while Desai, Hettleman and Levine have all accepted offers with McKinsey. Incidentally, Pore also took first place in our March Debate Madness tournament earlier this spring.Ìý
