This special event presented by the Center for Education on Social Responsibility at the Leeds School of Business in partnership with the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Chamber, as part of the Conference on World Affairs, seeks to answer the question:

How can businesses collaborate with government and nonprofits to redefine products and services to design waste out, while minimizing negative environmental impacts in promotingÌýa more sustainable future at a profit?

Mark Meaney is a member of the City of СÀ¶ÊÓƵ’s Task Force on the Circular Economy, a public-private partnership meant to share best practices on how best to create an infrastructure to support the circular economy in СÀ¶ÊÓƵ.

After the Ellen Macarthur Foundation selected СÀ¶ÊÓƵ to become one of the 12 international cities in itsÌýCircular Cities Network, СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Mayor Suzanne Jones joined with СÀ¶ÊÓƵ’s Regional Sustainability Coordinator Jonathan Koehn to create the task force.
